This week was a bit rough. I missed a workout due to exhaustion and much needed rest. I did however, still lose just shor tof 2 pounds bringing me down a total of 15.75 since I started. I have been slightly frustrated today seeing some pictures. I've been practicing my posing so much lately but today I just couldn't seem to do it right and took short of 100 pictures just to find the right one. On top of that it's hard to see changes just from week to week. I myself can tell considering I bought a new pair of jeans today :) on another side, due to having nursed Zoe for 6 months and losing the small chest I had, then losing weight and fat for 6 weeks...I had to consider buying a new bra but guess what....they were ALL too big. Yes that included the A's. Ugh. So it's a bitter sweet week....I'm just hoping when I compare week 0 to 17 there is a major change. I feel like I see them more myself but then pictures don't catch that. Plus I'm advised to keep taking them in light that does not flatter so that the end results will be easier to see. Anyway, you guys may not be able to tell the difference from last week or others to this week..but I feel it and can see it in my own ways so am trying to focus on that.

10 weeks to go...and 13 and 18.
So 10 weeks from this moment I should know how I did my first time on stage. Today was a great day too. I lost another 2.5 lbs from last week totalling 14 since May 30. I had some lady very you're-in-my-bubble-and-this-moment-is-so-awkward -ly come walking over to me while I was practicing my posing in heels, shorts and a sportsbra and no joke leaned down, put her head level to my stomach and about a foot away just go "oh my dear, look at your abs, what do you do?" LOL It was so uncomfortable but the question she asked eventually hit me and I felt good. That gave me another drive to keep pushing forward. Then I met a power lifting competitor named Yanto, teach me to do cleans today and it was such a rush! I felt so powerful and full of energy like I had tapped into a new reserve of strength waiting to be unlocked. So I left the gym on a high. Then as I was thinking about the fact that I have to pay for a membership to the organization sponsoring the competition and its good through the end of the year. I found 2 other competitions in Culver City on Oct 22 and Dec 3 and felt my heart made the decision to do them too. Now I think I'm hooked. There won't be any others I can do until May unless I fly somewhere out of town so want to take advantage of being in peak season. So as many may wonder...will I keep eating like this until December 3? Yes and no,...98% yes..but Oct 1 after the first show I will have a cheat day then get right back to it. Then for the OCt 22 show will do the same, then get back on track for the December show. It's a week after Thanksgiving so it"ll be only turkey and green beans for me this year :)..but Im all game for a big Christmas season. I'm SO FIRED UP!!!!
So I forgot to take normal (non comp suit ) pictures so am just gonna use the ones I normally only send my trainer Garry. Here os 10 weeks out: And below them is a link for my posing practice.
Gosh they grow so fast..so hard to imagine they ever started out like a seed in your belly...

Changing things up 11 weeks out
So Garry changed my diet again. Now it looks like this;
Day 1: 140 g protein/ 110g carb/ 15g fat
Day 2: 145g protein/ 60g carb/ 20g fat
Day 3: 145g protein/ 60g carb/ 20 g fat
repeat
Workouts are still the same. My knee has been getting a bit stiff this week b/c i did legs twice and all my HIT's have been uphill sprints. I'm hoping those will really help my hips, glutes, hamstrings and quads trim down and catch up with my torso. I know the legs lean out last normally so am trying to be patient. One thing I know is different are things you can't see on pictures. I do have more definition than I've had, and am wearing pants that I've never worn before b/c they were my little sisters and a goal once to lose enough weight to fit into. Posing in the side twist shot is the worst for my legs now since I still have what our family has inherited, and we like to call "knee pads". It's just not a flattering angle so I hope they appear the way they should when it counts. So far I have lost a grand total of 13 pounds! My digital scale is normally 2-3 lbs less than the real scale I use for official weigh-ins but one thing I have never seen on it is anything less than 150...I was 149 on it this morning!!! So hopefully in a few weeks the real scale will reflect something similar. I've always had to move the weight over to the "150" tick mark then adjust the smaller one 10-20lbs. I might just set it on the 100 tick mark for the first time ever!! But regardless of the actual number I feel great and feel comfortable in my pants and clothes and thats what makes me happy. Anyways, here are pics from today. I'm not gonna post the suit ones anymore until the final shot so here's close enough.

Finally back!
We officially have internet again so letting the more serious blogging begin. I've decided to take a picture everyday until the day of my competition then put all the pics together in a video so it looks like I shrink (hopefully) over a matter of seconds! Wouldn't that be convenient! I will post a pic from yesterday, I won't post one everyday otherwise that's too many and the change isn't as obvious but I'm thinking once a week. The competition is in 11 weeks. I've got a countdown on my hand (80 days left) to remind me everyday counts.
Here's what I've been doing...and doing it well I must say. I've really hustled these past few weeks. Since the last week of May( about 7-8 weeks ago) I've lost 10 lbs but things are coming off a lot slower now.
Every other day this is what I eat:
140g Protein / 100g carbs/ 15g fat
then every other day from that:
140g Protein/ 50g carbs/ 20g fat (not fun)
Protein comes from egg whites or lean meats and protein shakes, carbs for is mostly ezekiel bread, fats from mostly all natural peanut butter or almonds and avocados, and I eat a lot of green veggies everyday. For a sweet tooth fix sugar free jello cups are great..10 cal and nothing else! Also I just had a brilliant idea and put some natural PB and some sugar free jelly on ezekial bread so Im having PB&J!! (Easy on the sugar free jelly..6g carbs in a serving I normally have about 8 grams over the course of a week (about 4 piece of jelly toast).
Workouts:
Day 1: Legs and 1 hr light cardio (LIT)
Day 2: Back and 30 min sprints (HIT)
Day 3: Front torso day and 1 hr LIT
Day 4: Abs and Arms, 30 min HIT
then Repeat that sequence but I normally just do Mon-Sat and take Sundays off. So
here are the official first pictures in my suit...I've gotta work extra hard on my lower body and butt since I lose weight there last and may not see as much change until closer to the end of training.
Day 80 (out): My trainer suggested I use the most unflattering light now...ugh. Bleh.

CONSTRUCTION ZONE AHEAD! CAUTION REAR VIEW IS WHAT IS SEEMS...ARCHING THE BACK LIKE THIS DOES NOT FEEL GOOD EITHER!!.
